2013 | Where It Began
In 2013, Rock Urban Church was planted as a result of God’s powerful call and a vision to reach people with the Gospel. From the very beginning, our desire has been to see lives transformed by Jesus Christ and to make His name known. We give all the glory to God and God alone.
The Beginning | Taking the First Steps
Rock began by meeting wherever God provided the opportunity. We had rented office space for ministry during the week and gathered for worship services at a local movie theater. Though our spaces were temporary, our mission remained the same: reach people with the Gospel, make disciples, and go to all nations.
2016–2017 | A Place to Call Home
God opened the door for Rock Church to purchase a former tractor store that had most recently been used to maintain semi-trucks. What began as an unexpected building became an opportunity to create a permanent home for our church and ministry.
After seven months of renovation, we moved into our new facility on January 29, 2017. What once served a very different purpose was transformed into a place where people could gather, worship, hear the Word of God, and grow together in Christ.

2018 | Expanding the Vision
In October 2018, we completed renovations on the R Building, creating a multipurpose space designed to serve our growing ministries. The building provided space for youth ministry, children’s ministry, Bible studies, events, and much more.

Today | God Has Been Faithful
What started with a call and a vision has grown into a church family that continues to see God move. From rented office space and movie theaters to a permanent facility and expanded ministry spaces, every step of the journey is a testimony to God’s faithfulness.
